Class	Description
Class 1	Local Government and Community Organizations: This category is for tax-funded entities and community organizations within Rich Township, including groups like the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and Little League. These organizations, which must be directly affiliated with the district or contribute to the community supported by voluntary donations, receive precedence, especially those linked to Rich Township High School.
Class 2	Non-Profit Service Providers: Open to non-profit organizations within Rich Township that deliver services to its residents. This encompasses parochial and non-profit private schools and their affiliated groups, as well as civic, educational, religious, recreational, cultural, and charitable organizations that are supported by voluntary donations and whose objectives align with those of the district. These organizations must primarily operate within Rich Township and meet federal and state requirements for non-profit status. All income generated from events must benefit educational, charitable, cultural, religious, or community initiatives within Rich Township, with at least 50% participation from township residents. The school administration may review these organizations' financial records to verify compliance with Category 2 criteria.
Class 3	External Non-Profit and For-Profit Youth Services: This category includes nonprofit and for-profit organizations from outside Rich Township that offer services specifically for school-age children. It also covers taxing bodies and non-profit/charitable organizations that conduct events involving entry fees or fundraising objectives at the facilities.
Class 4	Private Sector Organizations: Reserved for private industry entities, both from within and outside the boundaries of the district. This category is distinct from the others as it encompasses a broad spectrum of for-profit activities without the specific community service or non-profit focus seen in the previous categories.
Internal Class	Exclusive to Rich Township High School District 227 staff for organizing student related or school-specific activities. These requests are prioritized for scheduling and access without any associated rental fees.
